With effect from 2nd January 2024, service 149 between Totnes and The Willows has been revised to operate via a simplified, more direct route.

The 149 now operates 4 trips per day in each direction between Totnes, Berry Pomeroy, Marldon, Shiphay Fowey Avenue and Torbay Hospital, with 3 trips continuing to/starting from The Willows. Most journeys also serve Westonfields in Totnes. The service remains operated by Country Bus.

Please note that the section of route via Preston Down Road and Torquay is no longer served by route 149. Alternative routes are available for those travelling to/from these sections.
