Services changes from 31 August 2025

Stagecoach are making changes to many of their bus services from 31 August 2025. To view timetables, visit the Stagecoach website.

Changes on this date will also affect Plymouth Citybus service 42C and First Bus services 25 and EX1. A summary of all changes is provided below.

  • Changes in East Devon
    East Devon area
    • 9A: Exeter – Sidmouth – Seaton (Stagecoach)
      • 0625 Monday to Friday Service 9A journey from Sidmouth to Seaton is withdrawn.
      • 0615 Monday to Friday Service 9A journey from Exeter to Seaton will depart at 0610 and run earlier throughout.
      • 0737 Monday to Friday Service 9A journey from Seaton to Exeter will be re-timed to depart at 0732.  On College Days it will divert via Bicton College.
      • 1835 Monday to Friday Service 9A journey from Seaton to Sidmouth is withdrawn.
    • 20: Seaton – Honiton – Taunton (Stagecoach) 
      • Revised timetable. The 0701 Monday to Friday College Days journey from Honiton to Richard Huish College will stop at Corporation Street in Taunton instead of Castle Way.
    • X30: Seaton – Honiton – Exeter (Stagecoach)
      • The 0700 Seaton to Exeter journey will now start from Beer at 0650.
      • The 1705 Exeter to Seaton extends to Beer at 1834.
      • New journeys are introduced at 0640 from Seaton to Beer and 1835 Beer to Seaton.
    • 157: Exmouth – Budleigh Salterton – Sidmouth (Stagecoach)
      • 1605 Monday to Friday journey from Exmouth to Sidmouth will serve Bicton College at 1648 on College days, running slightly later from Bicton College to Sidmouth.
      • The 1715 journey from Sidmouth to Exmouth will operate five minutes later Monday – Friday.

  • Changes in Exeter City

    Exeter City area
    • A: City Centre – Alphington (Stagecoach)
      • The City Centre terminus changes from the Bus Station to Sidwell Street stop 40.
      • Evening journeys will only operate between Alphington and the City Centre.
    • E: City Centre – Exwick (Stagecoach) 
      • Revised timetable
    • K: Cowley Bridge – Pennsylvania via City Centre (Stagecoach) 
      • Additional journeys introduced from Pennsylvania to the City Centre at 1845 Saturday/1847 Monday to Friday. Evening service will operate as service K instead of A.
    • P: Crossmead – City Centre – Pinhoe (Stagecoach) 
      • The 1852 Monday to Friday/1847 Saturday journey from St Thomas to Pinhoe will now operate via Pendragon Road.
    • R/S: City Centre – Rifford Road – Thornpark Rise – City Centre Circular (Stagecoach)
      • Minor timetable changes. The 0546 Saturday Service S journey is withdrawn.
    • 985: Redhills – St James School (Stagecoach)
      • The Tuesday afternoon departure from St James School will be at 1510.

  • Changes in Mid Devon

    Mid Devon area
    • 25: Dulverton – Taunton (First Bus)
      • Minor changes to timetable.
    • 348/349: Tiverton – Cowley Moor – Higher Moor – Tiverton Circular (Stagecoach)
      • Minor changes to timetable.
    • 369: Exeter – Crediton – Sandford – Morchard Bishop (Stagecoach)
      • Minor changes to timetable.

  • Changes in North Devon and Torridge

    North Devon and Torridge area
    • 14: Bideford – Goaman Estate Circular (Stagecoach)
      • Minor changes to the timetable. The 0955 journey will depart at 1005.
    • 16: Bideford – Westward Ho! – Appledore – Bideford Circular (Stagecoach)
      • Minor changes to timetable. The 0911 journey from Kenwith Castle starts from Bideford Quay at 0910.
    • 71: Barnstaple – Newton Tracey – Torrington (Stagecoach)
      • The 1455 Monday to Friday journey from Barnstaple to Torrington departs at 1445.
    • 75: Bideford – Torrington (Stagecoach)
      • 0810 Schooldays only journey from Bideford to Torrington School is withdrawn.
    • 303: Barnstaple – Woolacombe (Stagecoach)
      • Minor timetable changes.
    • 317: Bideford – Torrington – Hatherleigh – Okehampton (Stagecoach)
      • 0700 Monday to Friday journey from Okehampton to Bideford will depart earlier at 0655.
      • 0820 Monday to Friday Schooldays journey Bideford to Okehampton will depart earlier at 0810 and additionally serve Torrington School.
    • 319: Barnstaple – Hartland (Stagecoach)
      • Minor timetable changes. No longer serves Atlantic Academy.
    • 372: Barnstaple – Bideford – to Bradworthy / Holsworthy via Bideford and Littleham (Stagecoach)
      • Minor timetable changes. The 1450 journey from Bradworthy operates five minutes later.
    • 641: Bideford – Torrington – Shebbear – Holsworthy (Stagecoach)
      • Minor timetable changes. The 0905 journey from Bideford operates five minutes later.
      • The 1330 journey from Holsworthy operates ten minutes later.
    • 815, 821: Park School services (Stagecoach)
      • Minor timetable changes. Service 815 route revised to operate via Gratton Way and Old Torrington Road.
    • 819, 919: Atlantic Academy services (Stagecoach)
      • Services withdrawn. Atlantic Academy are now providing journeys for their pupils.
    • 903, 904, 921: Pilton Community College journeys (Stagecoach)
      • Minor timetable changes.
    • EX1: Ilfracombe – Lynmouth – Minehead (First Bus)
      • Service withdrawn.

  • Changes in the South Hams

    South Hams area
    • 1A: Sherford – Plymouth – Derriford Hospital – City Centre (Stagecoach)
      • Revised timetable. Route into Plymouth City Centre revised to operate via North Hill instead of North Road East. Some Sunday journeys now extend to Derriford Hospital.
    • 7: Exeter – Newton Abbot – Totnes (Stagecoach)
      • The 0843 Monday to Friday journey from Newton Abbot to Exeter will depart later at 0900.
    • 38: Exeter – Drumbridges – Ivybridge – Plymouth (Stagecoach)
      • Revised timetable with all journeys operating to and from Plymouth, reintroducing a through service from Exeter, Ashburton and Buckfastleigh to Plymouth.
    • 92: Dartmouth – Totnes (Stagecoach)
      • Minor timetable changes.
    • 110: Marldon – Totnes KEVICC (Stagecoach)
      • Service revised to operate between Marldon and KEVICC Totnes.
    • GOLD: Plymouth – Ivybridge – Totnes – Paignton (Stagecoach)
      • Renumbered as Service 80. Revised timetable providing a half-hourly service for much of the day

  • Changes in Teignbridge

    Teignbridge area
    • 2: Exeter – Dawlish – Teignmouth – Newton Abbot (Stagecoach)
      • Revised timetable with the Monday to Friday daytime frequency reverting to every 30 minutes.
    • 7: Exeter – Newton Abbot – Totnes (Stagecoach)
      • The 0843 Monday to Friday journey from Newton Abbot to Exeter will depart later at 0900.
    • 11: Dawlish Warren – Dawlish – Teignmouth – Torquay (Stagecoach)
      • Revised timetable. The 0650 Monday – Friday journey from Dawlish Warren to Torquay will change to service 22 at St Marychurch to provide a through journey to South Devon College.
    • 12: Newton Abbot – Torquay – Paignton – Brixham (Stagecoach)
      • Revised timetable. Monday to Friday off-peak reverts to the winter frequency of every 12 minutes.
    • 13: Brixham – South Devon College – Marldon – Torbay Hospital (Stagecoach)
      • Revised timetable. Some journeys now continue to Kingsteignton via The Willows and Newton Abbot.
    • 13D: Kingsteignton – Newton Abbot – South Devon College (Stagecoach)
      • Journeys become part of service 13.
    • 38: Exeter – Drumbridges – Ivybridge – Plymouth (Stagecoach)
      • Revised timetable with all journeys operating to and from Plymouth, reintroducing a through service from Exeter, Ashburton and Buckfastleigh to Plymouth.
    • 39: Exeter – Chudleigh – Bovey Tracey – Newton Abbot (Stagecoach)
      • Revised timetable to accommodate the closure of the A382 between Drumbridges and Newton Abbot for up to two years. Journeys will divert from Drumbridges via Liverton and Bickington to Newton Abbot with extended journey times.
    • 53: Kingsteignton – Newton Abbot – Torbay Hospital – The Willows (Stagecoach)
      • Service renumbered 13 and now continues to Brixham via Marldon, Foxhole and South Devon College. Additional Monday-Friday journeys and new Saturday service replacing the 53 service operated by Country Bus.
    • 173: Exeter – Tedburn St Mary – Chagford – Moretonhampstead (Stagecoach)
      • The Exeter City Centre terminus moves to Cheeke Street, departing from Stop 22.
    • 360: Exeter – Ide – Christow – Bridford (Stagecoach)
      • The Exeter City Centre terminus moves to Cheeke Street, departing from Stop 22.

  • Changes in West Devon

    West Devon area
    • 1: Plymouth – Derriford Hospital – Yelverton – Tavistock (Stagecoach)
      • Revised timetable. Route into Plymouth City Centre revised to operate via North Hill instead of North Road East.
    • X1: Tavistock – DHS Schools (Stagecoach)
      • Service withdrawn. DHS Schools are now providing a journey for their pupils.
    • 6: Okehampton – Holsworthy – Bude (Stagecoach)
      • The 1805 Monday to Friday College Days Only journey from Okehampton to Bude is withdrawn.
    • 42C: Woolwell – Plymouth (Plymouth Citybus)
      • Revised timetable
    • 59: George Junction – Plymouth via Sparkwell (Stagecoach)
      • Minor timetable changes.
