You can buy a single ticket (one way) for any bus journey. Prices vary depending on how far you travel and the ticket can be bought from the bus driver.

If you are going to come back on the same day it’s cheaper to buy a day return ticket. Day returns are available for many journeys and the ticket can be bought from the driver.  There are normally no return fares available if you are not coming back the same day, so you would need to buy two single fares. Please note that Stagecoach town/city services within Exeter, Barnstaple and Torbay do not sell day returns but they do offer DayRider tickets – see details below.

Remember, if you are travelling together as a family, or a group, it may be cheaper to buy a group day ticket than separate day returns. For example: two adults and three children, with one child aged 17, travelling from Sidmouth to Exeter would pay over £34 for separate day returns. A Stagecoach group explorer ticket costs £21 and allows the use of all Stagecoach South West buses on that day.

• Devon Day Ticket

  Valid for:	Freedom to use all local bus services in Devon (including Plymouth and Torbay) operated by the following bus companies: Axe Valley Mini Travel, Country Bus, Dartline, Filers Travel, Hatch Green, Oakleys Coaches, Plymouth City Bus, Stagecoach South West (Not Falcon) Tally Ho and Taw & Torridge.   Where to buy:	Tickets can be bought from the driver of any of the listed bus companies.
  Price:	Fares are as follows: £11 adult, £7.50 child (age 5 to 15 inclusive) and £22 family (maximum two adults and three children)

• Explorer

  Valid for:	Unlimited travel all day on Stagecoach South West services on the day of issue (excluding Falcon).
  Where to buy:	From the bus driver, or on the Stagecoach app.
  Price:	£10.50 Adult, £6.90 Child, £21.00 Group (5 people travelling together)

  Valid for:	Unlimited travel on Stagecoach buses, on the day of issue in a specified area  (see maps)
